Southwest Little League proudly wrapped up another memorable

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Southwest Little League proudly wrapped up another memorable season with a community-wide celebration honoring the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our players. Families, friends, coaches, and supporters gathered to recognize athletes from every division, from our newest Zapetas Division all the way through our Juniors Division.
The day was filled with excitement as players took center stage to receive their trophies and be recognized for their accomplishments throughout the season. We also celebrated several team achievements, including a special recognition for one of our CAPS Division (ages 5–7) teams, who not only completed an undefeated regular season but also captured the championship title at the South Bay Bash Tournament.
One of the most inspiring moments of the ceremony was recognizing the players selected to represent Southwest Little League in the District Tournament of Champions and our All-Star teams. These athletes earned the opportunity to showcase their talent, sportsmanship, and commitment to the game, and we were proud to honor them in front of our league community.
Of course, no Southwest Little League celebration would be complete without fun for everyone. The event featured delicious food vendors, bounce houses, table games, and a large community raffle. We were also thrilled to raffle off team-sponsored gift baskets, generously assembled by our league families. The incredible turnout and enthusiastic participation highlighted what makes Southwest Little League so special, the unwavering support and involvement of our community.
While Closing Day marks the end of another successful season, our baseball journey continues. Next up are our summer workouts in July, followed by our Fall Ball season beginning in September. Our mission remains the same: to provide local children and teens with a safe, positive environment where they can develop their skills, build confidence, create lasting friendships, and become the best versions of themselves both on and off the field.

El sábado 6 de junio de 2026, Southwest Little League celebró con orgullo el cierre de otra temporada memorable con una gran celebración comunitaria que reconoció el esfuerzo, la dedicación y los logros de nuestros jugadores. Familias, amigos, entrenadores y seguidores se reunieron para homenajear a los atletas de todas las divisiones, desde nuestra más reciente División Zapetas hasta nuestra División Juniors.
El día estuvo lleno de emoción, ya que los jugadores fueron los protagonistas al recibir sus trofeos y ser reconocidos por sus logros a lo largo de la temporada. También celebramos varios éxitos de equipo, incluyendo un reconocimiento especial para uno de nuestros equipos de la División CAPS (edades de 5 a 7 años), que no solo completó una temporada regular invicta, sino que también conquistó el campeonato del torneo South Bay Bash.
Uno de los momentos más inspiradores de la ceremonia fue el reconocimiento a los jugadores seleccionados para representar a Southwest Little League en el Torneo de Campeones del Distrito y en nuestros equipos All-Star. Estos atletas se ganaron la oportunidad de demostrar su talento, deportividad y compromiso con el juego, y nos sentimos orgullosos de honrarlos frente a toda nuestra comunidad.
Por supuesto, ninguna celebración de Southwest Little League estaría completa sin actividades para toda la familia. El evento contó con deliciosos puestos de comida, casas inflables, juegos de mesa y una gran rifa comunitaria. También nos emocionó sortear canastas de regalo patrocinadas por los equipos, generosamente preparadas por las familias de nuestra liga. La increíble asistencia y la entusiasta participación reflejaron lo que hace tan especial a Southwest Little League: el apoyo incondicional y la participación de nuestra comunidad.
Aunque el Día de Clausura marca el final de otra exitosa temporada, nuestro camino en el béisbol continúa. Lo próximo serán nuestros entrenamientos de verano en julio, seguidos por nuestra temporada de Fall Ball que comenzará en septiembre. Nuestra misión sigue siendo la misma: brindar a niños y jóvenes de nuestra comunidad un entorno seguro y positivo donde puedan desarrollar sus habilidades, fortalecer su confianza, crear amistades duraderas y convertirse en la mejor versión de sí mismos, tanto dentro como fuera del campo.
